CASEY LOWERY is one of the most talked about and most promising newcomers in indie and guitar pop. On September 14*, the young musician from Chesterfield will be coming to the Schräglage in Stuttgart with his new single "Not Ready".

Up-and-coming indie artist CASEY LOWERY has released his brand new single "Not Ready". It is his first release of 2024 and the follow-up to his 2023 single "Caught Me At My Lowest (ft Walk Off The Earth)". "Not Ready" offers a deeply personal insight into CASEY LOWERY'slife and recent experiences

The song explores the complex emotions surrounding grief and is inspired by the loss of Casey's grandfather. "The song is about the feeling of trying to process the grief before it's happened. It's about the back and forth of wanting to be very close to that person and at the same time knowing how much it's going to hurt when they're gone. It's about figuring out where your heart lies and what it can take," says CASEY LOWERY. When his grandfather died in 2023, he left him a caravan - an old vacation home on the English coast that contained a story CASEY LOWERY hadn't thought about before. When he arrived there, moved in temporarily with his dog and removed himself from his usual metropolitan surroundings, he found inspiration that he used for "Not Ready".
