Their success is no coincidence. CAT BALLOU have been on stage for over 20 years and have moved the hearts of countless fans - not only in Cologne, but now throughout the German-speaking world. With their authentic and relaxed style, the five thoroughbred musicians always manage to express their special attitude to life in music.

The result is not only musical declarations of love for Cologne, but also genuine anthems that have left their mark on an entire generation.

The story of the young Cologne band Cat Ballou is a success story that only the city of Cologne could write. For more than 10 years, their unique sound has had a lasting impact on the Cologne music scene and their anthems hit the heart.

People party, barbecue, chill out and get married to their songs and they celebrate their open and honest local partisanship in their own charming way. Their music is modern pop with an international flavor. They sing in Kölsch because they are from here and can authentically express what they feel in their language, even if it is sometimes 'kei Wood jitt'.

On their nationwide "ALLES BUNT" tour in 2022, the band toured 15 cities from Berlin to Hamburg, Münster to Trier, from Stuttgart to Munich. They took their hit "Oh wie schön" from the album of the same name "ALLES BUNT", which was released in fall 2021, with them. The year 2023 is all about cats, a year full of hope, courage and confidence! Their new single "Lass uns nicht geh'n" already has what it takes to be a hit! The boys celebrate all facets of life. Diversity, self-determination, diversity, different origins and goals - all these themes find a musical home in the band's songs. After all, it's also about CAT BALLOU's home: Cologne, the city that stands for diversity, fun and joie de vivre like no other.
