****English version see below****
Rooted in the hardcore scene, known in prog circles for their expeditions into the realms of space rock and celebrated for their stadium-ready hooklines - hardly any other band embodies the broad spectrum of the Hellseatic sound as exemplarily as the American post-hardcore formation Cave-In.
The band emerged in the 90s from the close friendship of Stephen Brodsky on lead guitar and vocals, Adam McGrath on rhythm guitar (and later also vocals), Caleb Scofield on bass and vocals and John-Robert Conners on drums. After the worldwide release of their debut album "Until Your Heart Stops", their fan base grew worldwide. When they unveiled the conceptual space odyssey "Jupiter" in 2000, the album catapulted them to even bigger stages, gaining widespread critical acclaim and a legion of loyal fans.
Since then, Cave In has weathered many ups and downs, not least the death of Caleb Scofield in 2018. The foundations laid in 1995 have held the band together and thankfully they have managed to evolve and overcome preconceptions. With Nate Newton (Converge, Doomriders, Old Man Gloom) on bass and vocals, Cave In will perform"Jupiter" live in one piece on September 6 at Kulturzentrum Lagerhaus in an exclusive Northern Germany show to fuel anticipation for the next Hellseatic edition in 2026...

Since 2019, French instrumental trio TORU have been bending their way through a sonic laser labyrinth of chaotic noise rock, experimental metal and electro-acoustic gimmicks. With their jazz-inspired new work "Velours Dévorant" in their luggage, the band, whose name incidentally comes from a tetralogy called "Sea of Fertility" by Japanese author Yukio Mishima, are supporting Cave In on their Jupiter anniversary tour.
If you like the chaotic perfection of bands like Ni or are carried away by garagey Rriot Grrrl noisiness, you shouldn't miss this opener.

Rooted in the hardcore scene, known in prog circles for their ventures into space rock, and celebrated for their arena-worthy hooks - only few bands embody the wide spectrum of the Hellseatic sound as quintessentially as American post-hardcore pioneers Cave In.
Formed in the mid-90s from the close-knit friendship between Stephen Brodsky (lead guitar, vocals), Adam McGrath (rhythm guitar, later vocals), Caleb Scofield (bass, vocals), and John-Robert Conners (drums), Cave In quickly rose to international recognition with their debut album Until Your Heart Stops. Their 2000 release Jupiter, a conceptual space odyssey, marked a turning point: catapulting them onto larger stages, winning critical praise, and building a fiercely loyal following.
Through the years, the band has endured both triumph and tragedy-not least the devastating loss of Caleb Scofield in 2018. Yet the foundation they laid in 1995 has held strong. With Nate Newton (Converge, Doomriders, Old Man Gloom) now on bass and vocals, Cave In will perform"Jupiter" in its entirety on September 6 at Kulturzentrum Lagerhaus, in a rare Northern Germany appearance to kindle the anticipation for Hellseatic Festival 2026.

The French instrumental trio TORU has been contorting itself through a sound-forged laser labyrinth of chaotic noise rock, experimental metal, and electroacoustic alchemy since 2019. With their latest work Velours Dévorant-a piece deeply influenced by jazz and rich in dynamic nuance-they join Cave In on their Jupiter anniversary tour. The band's name, incidentally, is drawn from Yukio Mishima's Sea of Fertility tetralogy, hinting at a depth beyond the decibels.
If the chaotic precision of acts like Ni speaks to you, or if you're drawn to garage-born riot grrrl dissonance, you'd do well not to miss this opening act.
