When Peppi (36) finds out that he wasn't invited to the class reunion, his self-image crumbles. Fuck! Forgotten? Uninvited? - That must be a mistake! In search of answers, we accompany Peppi to the Ruhr area and into the past of his 16-year-old self: we race through the monsoon of the 00s on a skateboard with blond tips. The time of folding cell phones, German flags and burnt CDs. We pass Barbara Salesch and gamble all night at LAN parties. But alongside the happy memories lurk the abysmal sins of youth. Maybe there are reasons why you shouldn't invite Peppi after all. CHABOS is like an old Facebook profile that you've scrolled too far down: You feel ashamed.
