Chess Night: Blitzschachturnier [5+0 Special]

In the organizer's words:

Come along to the Badgepacker Chess Night at The Londoner in Dortmund, treat yourself to a few tasty drinks and show off your skills at our blitz chess tournament!

Spring Special: In our April tournament we will not play as usual (3+2), but increase the thinking time to 5 minutes without extra seconds per move (5+0).

Tournament mode

The preliminary round will first be used to classify your playing strength. At the beginning, 8 groups of four players will be formed, in which everyone plays against everyone else. At the end, your final group ranking will decide whether you will continue in the subsequent knockout phase in the Beginners, Advanced (24 or more participants) or Pro Cup. Here you will meet other players with a similar level of play to yours, so that you have a fair chance of finishing on the winner's podium in your cup and taking home an award.

Note: The tournament will only take place in one part of the bar. In the front part is normal bar operation without entrance fee.

19:30: Start of the tournament
approx. 22:45: Award ceremony
