Cheyenne Turner - Love Echoes Our Names (Album Release)

Cheyenne Turner has been making music for as long as she can remember - and her brother Leon is her biggest role model. When he started playing the guitar as a child, she wanted to do the same. Together they performed on stages - from the school auditorium to the Friedrichstadt-Palast.

After his sudden loss, songwriting became an anchor for her. Their songs, somewhere between singer-songwriter and pop, tell of loss, memory and moving on - but they are more than just a story. They are universal, because everyone knows the feeling of missing someone. Their songs remind us of the people who are no longer by our side - for whatever reason - and how precious the time we spent together was.

With her debut album Love Echoes Our Names, she is now releasing these songs into the world on June 6, 2025. One day later, on June 7, she will celebrate the release with a special concert. Her otherwise guitar-based songs will take on a new dimension: accompanied by a band, her powerful and vulnerable voice will be carried by multi-layered arrangements - like a dialog between her and the instruments that is sometimes quiet and close, sometimes big and full of energy.

LEON can be felt in every note - even in the album title itself.

Davide Crimaldi is a guitarist, composer and multi-instrumentalist with a background in classical guitar and a deep love of jazz and world music. After graduating from the conservatory, he explored a variety of musical styles - from flamenco and Brazilian rhythms to soul and blues. His music is both intimate and expressive, combining technique with instinct to create warm, engaging atmospheres. In 2024 he released his debut album Un Passo Alla Volta, originally composed as a soundtrack for the documentary of the same name.
