Chez Company – Der Klang des Wassers / Die Argonause

Travel stands for adventure, the desire for the unknown and a longing for the world. At the same time, we are aware of the destructive effects of mass tourism on the climate and the environment. We are dedicating a program series to this topic with monthly publications in various formats: Together with Chez Company, the FFT is embarking on an excursion that invites you to explore the beginnings of tourism as well as climate-neutral options that stand for a new, responsible desire to travel.

Don't we need to fundamentally change our perspective? What is the sound of water like - a digital event on and especially in the Rhine? Can the Rhine compose? Can water generate sound? What sounds of blue and gray and life for our epic of the Argonause? Sound designer Fabian Kühlein goes to the source of the Rhine and records the sound of the water using an underwater microphone. We will talk about this and also about the different qualities of Rhine water. Experts wanted!
