Sophie, a former 80s pop star known as "The Blackbird from Aschau", has been running the AMSI guesthouse, which her mother left to her, for years. She instructs her long-time employee Hans, who apparently helps her in many areas: Sophie is expecting a guest who often stayed with her many years ago to go hiking with his wife: District Administrator Dr. Peter Aschauer. The reason for his return to the guesthouse soon becomes clear: Aschauer is accompanied by the young Green Party MP Vanessa Mühlberg and is therefore incognito...

She is also not interested in her relationship with a CSU grandee becoming public knowledge. To make matters worse, the chairman of the local FDP party, who has just lost his seat to this very Vanessa, stumbles into retirement because his car breaks down. When Johann, Vanessa's husband and treasurer of the local SPD, turns up, the chaos takes its course.
