The almost triangular Takuplatz is surrounded by the street of the same name as well as Iltisstrasse and
Lansstrasse. "Taku", "Lans", "Iltis" - at first glance, inconspicuous names that seem to mean nothing and
and certainly don't seem to fit together. And yet they form a
thematic ensemble. The tour not only tells a piece of Cologne's history, but also that of the world
world history - with an immoderate emperor at the center.
