CHIRP

In the organizer's words:

As part of KATAPULT - Performance Platform Leipzig.

Since 1980, the number of birds in Europe has fallen by a quarter.
Unlike immediate environmental catastrophes, bird
our direct perception - and thus also the songs that are
the songs that are increasingly being lost. CHIRP makes this
this acoustic loss audible. Songs from an open source archive
are expanded in terms of composition and text. The result is
a place of speculation and mourning in a walk-in space and sound installation.

Tip: The performances can beeasily combinedwith the dance performance _PLEX at 8 pm in the Techne Sphere and with BINGOWINGS at 9 pm in the Residenz Schauspiel Leipzig.
