Chorkonzert mit d'a Chor

In the organizer's words:

The Ensemble d'a Choir from Münster performs its next concert in the Petrikirche.

Works by Banchieri, Esenvalds, Franck, Hagenberg, Janequin, de Prez, Schütz and others will be performed. The current program includes a sacred part as well as madrigals and folkloristic pieces from England, Spain, France and Germany, alongside sophisticated pop arrangements, with Yuki Kawaguchi at the piano.

The experienced choirmaster Jürgen Janotta places great emphasis on intensive vocal training when rehearsing the choral pieces, working with special perception and concentration exercises, influenced by the "Lichtenberger Institut für funktionale Stimmbildung". This results in lively singing rich in energy and overtones.
