Overwhelming demand, enthusiastic audiences, praise from the critics. As CHRIS DE BURGH's two tours of Germany in 2024 were a sensational triumph, the popular singer/songwriter will be back in Germany in 2025. The motto of his performances between July 25 and August 17 remains the same as last year: "50LO". The title refers on the one hand to the fact that he is performing solo and celebrating his 50th anniversary, and on the other to his current album: "For '50', I have selected my favorite songs from each of my previous studio albums," says the singer/guitarist/pianist, "and recorded three new songs to go with them." The stage pro also reveals a few things about the concerts: "This tour is about me remembering my beginnings, when I performed solo with guitar or piano accompaniment. I'll also be talking about the music at the guest appearances, about the origins of the songs and their background." Chris de Burgh will also be performing some cover versions, as his role models include Elvis Presley, Toto, Lennon/McCartney, Paul Simon and Bob Dylan.
