Ciao Lucifer is an indie duo from Amsterdam with an infectious feel-good energy. Their life is a mixture of precise pop songs, danceable grooves and quirky humor. Although everything is played live with just one guitarist and one drummer, the band's sound is as complete as any other. The duo creates a continuous flow of energy by linking the songs together and coming up with fun and original ways to involve the audience in the show. The groove always comes first. The name Ciao Lucifer comes from the fact that Marnix and Willem overcome their difficulties by making music. They transform their demons into upbeat and cheerful funk songs to bring some extra positivity into this world. The darker themes behind the cheerful vibes always go down well with their very loyal fan base.
