Thomas is reluctantly asked to spend two weeks in the summer with his divorced father Christian. Without the internet! In the countryside! Christian breeds wild lesser white-fronted geese in the Camargue marshes in the south of France to save them from extinction. Unexpectedly, Thomas makes friends with the goslings. And then a great adventure awaits: in order to teach the goslings a safe flight route, they are taken by car to northern Norway, and from there they are to be shown the air route to the south of France in an ultra-light aircraft.
An adventure film for the whole family, based on true events: Animal welfare activist Christian Moullec, who has himself carried out such reintroduction attempts, was involved in the screenplay. Director Nicolas Vanier and cinematographer Éric Guichard find breathtaking images to tell the story of nature, courage and a very special relationship with an endangered species.
