The hybrid show concept "Cinelive" started 2021 as a nationwide tour (including Hamburg, Berlin and Munich) and is now making another stop in Cologne on August 23. In a varied rollercoaster ride of emotions - including international and award-winning short films on the big screen, live music with Laoura, poetry by Julius Esser, comedy and more by Julia Hingst, travel journalism by Stephan Bartsch and lots of little surprises - show legend Dan O'Clock will take you on an evening full of adventure and emotion.

Dan O'Clock, presenter and singer-songwriter, presents CINELIVE!

The German-speaking singer-songwriter, comedian and presenter has not come to go straight away. He wants to stay and leave a beautiful feeling in your heart that you won't soon forget. Emotional and lost in thought, Dan O'Clock often becomes autobiographical and occasionally loses himself in hilarious anecdotes, only to turn his perspective 180 degrees the next second in a shockingly serious pamphlet to humanity.

Laoura - Pop, RnB, Neo-Soul

LAOURA is an exciting, up-and-coming artist who masterfully balances accessibility and depth in her music. Her blend of pop, R'n'B and neo-soul, characterized by her warm voice and soulful lyrics, resonates with listeners. Her sound is clearly rooted in years of musical training and is inspired by influential artists such as Billie Eilish, Pip Millet and Jorja Smith.

Poetry

Julius Esser, poetry slammer

Julius Esser is a poet, author and slam poet from the Rhineland. At 33, the literature and cultural studies graduate can already look back on almost 20 years of stage experience in the fields of theater, music and stage performance. In recent years, he has won numerous nationwide poetry slams, city championships and cabaret shows, is a multiple finalist in the state poetry slam championships and is currently one of the best poets in NRW.

Stephan Bartsch

The creator behind the renowned local and long-distance travel website "Home of Travel" and host of the successful travel podcast "Bucketlist" reports on the most exciting activities & exciting places for your next adventure. Whether it's skiing in St. Anton or a bikepacking tour through the Sahara. Stephan has been everywhere and has a lot to tell.

Julia Hingst

Julia Hingst was born and raised in Cologne and it shows. Her purpose in life is mischief. Whether behind the scenes as a TV writer or on stage - the main thing is that in the end there is more laughter than tears.
