Circus Sessions im Revier

Moments of amazement, dreaming and reflection, between thrills and poetry - circus has many faces. At the Circus Sessions, we show them all.

Created as the "melting pot" of the Berlin artist scene, we are now bringing the "Circus Sessions" show format to NRW for the first time - in the tent of the Kultursommer im Revier. In the tent palace in Revierpark Nienhausen, we will be presenting a top-class line-up of local and international top acts.

The parkour crew Flyguys, who are known for their energetic jumps and stunts from the Urbanatix shows in Essen, will also be performing. The local heroes from the Ruhr region will be making their debut here with their own brand new show, bringing urban sports to the circus ring.

The Scenic Circus ensemble will be presenting excerpts from their new show "Diaries in Motion". Four artists from different European circus schools (Berlin, Montpellier, Kiev) will showcase their skills and push the boundaries between acrobatics and physical theater.

The acrobatic duo "Avant Ta Peau" is known from the Gelsenkirchen Christmas Circus. With their love story high up under the circus dome and a rousing hula-hoop routine, they round off the program of the Circus Sessions im Revier.
