Cirquiosk - Absolventen-Gala der Staatlichen Artistikschule Berlin

In Cirquiosk, circus meets kiosk! The kiosk of a big city. Young artists in search of themselves. Sometimes melancholy, sometimes humorous, sometimes lonely but then again together but always with full physical commitment. With joie de vivre, circus skills and lots of energy, the ten graduates of the Berlin State Artistic School provide an insight into the life of the notorious Gen Z. In doing so, they combine the most diverse styles of classical and contemporary circus in a special way and play with the clichés of youth culture.

The graduating class of 2025 is already a very special one in its composition, some students attended the state school for artists for 9 years, others only joined two years ago and for the first time Ukrainian artists who were able to complete their training in Berlin are also graduating.

For the young artists, this show represents a step into a new life. Director Rodrigue Funke (Wintergarten Varieté Berlin) worked with the young talents for over a year on this creation.
