"This is a beautiful 90-minute work of performance art filled with glorious melody and heart; it's not a lecture, lament or rebuke. It's emotionally engaging and mysteriously beautiful and sometimes funny. I can't wait to see what Claire Cunningham does next." Mary Beer, LondonTheatre1, 09.10.2024
In her touching solo, Claire Cunningham, who is one of the most sought-after protagonists on the international dance and performance scene, addresses questions of wandering and life. With her perspective as a choreographer who identifies herself as disabled and as a classically trained singer, she leads us through emotional and physical (stage) landscapes. Through movement and text, audience interaction and live singing of Mahler's song cycle "Lieder eines fahrenden Gesellen", she invites us to reflect on our own approach to loss and change.
