Clay Modelling

In the organizer's words:

Come and join guest teacher, local 3d artist and painter Enrico in his unique Clay Modeling workshop. He will guide you to materialize your own sculptural project. With his expertise he will ensure that you are given the right tools and guidance to create your desired sculpture.

You are encouraged to experiment and create personal projects after learning the initial methods. Whether you are working on a figurative, vessel or abstract piece all advice will be personalized to help you along your journey.

You will learn how to use modeling tools and how to start to sculpt any cast or copy from images - from the beginning to the completed piece.
You will be introduced to different sculpting tools to manipulate the clay and obtain the desired effect.
How to transfer a drawing to a clay surface.
Building techniques such as slabbing and pinching, modelling and coiling;
How to observe and measure correctly, scale up or down, Treatment and finishing of clay and textures you can use for your finished work.
