ArTik and E-WERK Freiburg present the seventh reading in the CLITERATUR series with Louisa Bahl. The event will take place in the chamber theater of the E-Werk.

About the variety of kisses

Annoyed and bored by the same old run-of-the-mill mainstream kissing scenes, a much too long poetry slam text is created in the summer of 2023, which doesn't feel "right" when shortened and has zero impact on stage. But give up the kissing text? No way! It has to be told that not all kisses are pink. After all, kisses are as different as the people involved. Kissing is love, can be conflict or question and answer. Violence or longing. Hot, cold, exciting, disgusting and so much more ...

Louisa Bahl has been writing her way onto the poetry slam stages of Baden-Württemberg since 2023. Her texts are often written as acute therapy, from everyday observations or because her next girlfriend is hoping for a wedding speech.
Her debut "The ABC of Kisses" was written within three weeks under the pseudonym "Luca Blumberg" as part of the Young Storyteller Award 2023. Having studied international political science, sociology and environmental management, she spends her free time as a research assistant doing "something with climate and people".

The CLITERATUR reading series is a riot brush that nudges and throws you in at the deep end. It clarifies questions and raises even more. Which is not necessarily comfortable, but can be very relieving. Deliberately bringing the unknown or little-known to light, without a narrow-minded idea of what literature should be. Curious and feminist.
