Anyone looking for heart, soul and sophistication in hip-hop will have long since found Amir Mohamed aka Oddisee. The US rapper is warmly recommended to everyone else. Born in Washington, D.C. to a Sudanese father and an African-American mother, Oddisee was influenced early on by soul and rap as well as an extremely musical family. With his organic, jazzy sound and emotional lyrics, he quickly gained a reputation as the next big thing in the US rap underground. With his critically acclaimed album "The Good Fight", released in 2015, he finally achieved his international breakthrough. To celebrate the 10th anniversary of "The Good Fight", Oddisee and his live band Good Compny are now embarking on a special European tour that puts Oddisee's powerful voice and storytelling front and center, inviting fans old and new to experience the emotional intensity and jazzy groove of his live show.
