ClubFusion - Festival of the theater clubs of Schauspiel Leipzig, Oper Leipzig and TDJW | May 15 to 25, 2025

A decision has to be made. But what if new worlds open up with every loop of thought? - Or rather "new worlds", because who really knows what all this entails? Pros and cons face each other, memories add their fragments, and the question remains: What actually determines in us? Or who? Who do you ask in the night? The spirits? Fate? Your mother? Kant?
Between dream and reality, we experience the "train of thoughts": from everyday situations that often feel like dystopia in the midst of world events and yet so terribly beautiful in the next sunshine, to the parallel worlds of emotions, to a future in which every small decision seems to have huge consequences. Thoughts flow into each other, jumping from reality to fiction, from poetry to memes, asking the question: what does it mean to feel on the right path while your role is constantly being renegotiated behind your forehead?
A reflection full of frustration, hope and the eternal uncertainty of whether it is not predetermined. Time passes both frantically fast and agonizingly slow when thoughts roll around in bed with you. Club Visible about the search for meaning in a head (and in our world) full of chaos - join us.

CLUB VISIBLE/VISIBLE
... is a multilingual, process-oriented theater club for everyone aged 15 and over who wants to make theater together and discover new things. Here, people from different backgrounds and languages come together to develop stories, exchange perspectives and try out new artistic approaches. The focus is not on finished results, but on joint research: from finding ideas to developing a play. Movement, acting, puppet theater, music, texts and improvisation flow into each other and create a lively, open atmosphere. We work as a fixed group, support each other and provide space for sensitivity, individuality and the joy of experimentation. The club is inclusive and invites everyone, regardless of previous experience or language.

ABOUT THE CLUBFUSION
ClubFusion, the joint festival of the theater clubs of Schauspiel Leipzig, Oper Leipzig and TDJW, is entering its fifth round from 15 to 25 May 2025. This year, you can expect a festival line-up of 13 clubs in 30 events with around 200 performers.
The young festival format ClubFusion focuses on the themes of the people who meet in the various clubs and develop productions under professional guidance. The methodological and aesthetic diversity of the working methods within the theater clubs is reflected in the creative presentations of the participants. The festival aims to sustainably strengthen Leipzig's theater scene, create opportunities for participation in culture and art and provide open and diverse meeting spaces for people of all ages.
