ClubJazz: FINK 70‘s Revisited

In the organizer's words:

The trio combines sensitivity, humor and sympathy in a virtuoso, spontaneous way - and captivates its audience. There is no doubt that these characteristics are also reflected in the band's sound, which saxophonist Silke Eberhard, Johannes Fink on cello and drummer Thilo Weber developed musically together during their rehearsal phases.
Fink's own compositions quote the funk of the 1970s with wah-wah sounds on the cello. Through a subconscious transcendental connection, the pieces unite the eccentric with the familiar.
From there, the musical journey leads to abstract themes, to a total work of art completed by unusual instrumentation and free improvisation. Saxophone, cello and drums form the perfect symbiosis for this wonderful spectacle.
