Born on the legendary Highway 61 in Minnesota, Cobi's roots as a singer run deep. As a young blues guitar prodigy, Cobi began performing in clubs and played all-nighters in smoky bars across the USA. The endless roads of his home country led him to Los Angeles, a record deal with a major label in his pocket. The first person to recognize his potential was Lyor Cohen, Co-President of Def Jam Record. Cobi's first single "Don't you cry for me" went straight to the top of the global Spotify charts and to number 1 on SiriusXM Spectrum Radio.

Following the release of his bluesy debut EP "Songs From The Ashes Pt.1" in 2017, Cobi returned in 2022 and then 2023 with the two albums "Songs From The Ashes" and "Love In The Wildwood", which reveal his ability to write music with rock, soul and electronic influences. The American is a true natural and is beginning to make a name for himself on the other side of the Atlantic. During his stay in Paris in spring 2023, Cobi recorded the first tracks of his new album "Sugar Man" at Studio Ferber. Produced between Los Angeles and Paris, the EP oscillates between sun-drenched indie rock and languorous pop.
