The Colours of Ostrava Festival is not only a music and art festival, but also a unique experience that takes place in the middle of the old open-cast mine in Ostrava, Czech Republic. Since its foundation in 2002, the festival has developed into one of the most important cultural events in Central Europe and is characterized not only by an impressive line-up, but above all by the extraordinary location and a diverse supporting programme in the form of panels, discussions and exhibitions. The stages are spread out between the remains of the old industrial plant and offer visitors the opportunity to immerse themselves in a fascinating, unique festival atmosphere. But it's not just the festival atmosphere that is colorful, the stage program also features a wide range of music genres such as rock, pop, electronic, world music, indie, hip-hop and more.
