We at schauraum: Comic + Cartoon are pleased to provide the space for the first meeting of the comic feedback round "Sprechblase"! This is a great opportunity to exchange ideas with other comic and manga artists from Dortmund and the Ruhr area.

The meeting is organized by Ika Sperling and we are very happy that we can support with this space. It's a great opportunity for anyone who is passionate about comics and manga to get feedback and develop their skills.

What can you expect at "Sprechblase"?

"Sprechblase" is an open comic feedback round that takes place regularly. Here you can network with other illustrators, present your projects and receive valuable feedback - regardless of whether you are a beginner, student or professional.

What happens at the meetings?

Honest feedback: You can present your comics or manga and ask for specific feedback, e.g. on layouts, readability or specific scenes.

Constructive discussions: The goal is to learn and improve together.

No drawing on site: The focus is on meetings and the exchange of ideas.

Even if you have nothing to show, you are welcome to come to give feedback and learn new perspectives.

What do we value?

Respect and honesty: criticism at eye level and in a supportive atmosphere.

Open exchange for everyone - regardless of experience level.

Structured meetings with a short round of introductions and enough time to discuss the project. After the meeting there is the opportunity to eat something together and continue chatting.

When?

1-2 times a month, in the afternoon, max. 2 hours.
