Comics über zu viel oder zu wenig Wasser

In the organizer's words:

Water shapes our lives - but it is unevenly distributed. Floods, drought or polluted water can destroy entire livelihoods and force people to flee their homes. How does water influence migration? What role does it play in different regions?

Expert input: Clever Ogbonna, environmental physicist at the University of Bremen, provides insights into the global water crisis:

• How does water scarcity contribute to desertification?
• Why is the state of the Antarctic crucial for sea level rise?

Creative workshop: Jeff Hemmer, comic artist and illustrator

After the input, we will create comics to capture personal and global perspectives on climate change and water. How has water shaped where you live? What stories are there about water and migration? Together we will tell them in pictures - directly, expressively and personally.
