Commedia Futura // A SECOND BEFORE AWAKENING

In the blurred area between dreaming and waking, anything is possible. Consciousness has not yet regained the upper hand. The unconscious provides the images for a mental movie without any control over reality. The group Commedia Futura is now immersing itself in precisely this state - with its latest dance theater production A SECOND BEFORE AWAKENING. It opens up a surreal world of exuberant simultaneities. It sets in motion a stream of consciousness in which memories from the past, truths of our present and fears of the future intermingle. Symbolic and visually powerful. Hearts become faces and eyes mutate into microscopes. Commedia Futura create a space in which dancers and audience can feel connected - because the shared waking dreams blur all differences.
