Community Sunday Düsseldorf

Hello dear Düsseldorfers!

I'm launching this new format in Düsseldorf because I've been wanting more connection between people of all ages for a long time - and a place that feels like more than just a one-off event. A place where a really nice, interesting community can emerge.

In times when fewer and fewer people feel "at home" in churches and church services, I want to create a place that is more about the essence of what many religions and philosophy pass on - and give the whole thing a soothing, connecting, playful framework.

I would like to integrate elements and routines that have fascinated and touched me at various church services - and in some cases add to them in exchange with you.

✨ A small insight into the first structure:

• Arrival & space for dialog
• Bring your own buffet: Everyone brings a little something - we share everything. I provide coffee and cookies.
• Elements from emotion work: e.g. triads or group exercises with the aim of reviewing the week, arriving in the here and now and developing wishes for the next week.
• Open-stage elements: People and groups are allowed to share what they are currently planning or moving - including individuals who dare to talk about their challenges or make wishes and requests to the community.
• Smaller interactive lecture elements on everyday topics that encourage reflection and exchange.
• Artistic performances as soon as we have reached a good number of visitors. Then - in addition to the costs of space and expenses - small appreciation fees for artists are also conceivable.
• Join-in movement and singing elements - open to anyone who wants to.

As you can see, there are so many potential ideas - and you can help shape them and get involved!
