For all performances (except the premiere) there will be an introduction 30 minutes before the start and a discussion afterwards.
Conni Klawitter has her birthday on April 30th and lives with her parents in a small town. As the heroine of the Pixi books, she always learns lots of great things, for example how to go to the hairdresser, ride a pony or bake a cake. Her wishes are always fulfilled by mom and dad, and her friends are always there to help her.
However, poetry slammer Hannah Haberberger is no friend of Conni's, as she believes the little stories reproduce clichés and gender roles. Exclusively for Theater Regensburg, the author takes Conni as the starting point for a furious reckoning with rose-tinted images of women, because at some point something has to go wrong even with Conni. Recently turned 30, she has been receiving advice on social media for the perfect life. But how are you supposed to meditate every day, do sport, read, eat healthily, memorize mantras, get enough sleep and then work in 10,000 a month? Between mindset and mindfulness, yoga mat, girlboss and skincare, there's a lot to do.
Haberberger's indignation and clever observations of everyday life give rise to ludicrous, sarcastic and highly political texts that question both the "Conni principle" and the now early thirtysomething: Are you okay with yourself, Conni?
