Arrested Denial were founded in Hamburg at the end of 2009. Musically, the band stands for street punk with catchy melodies and occasional offbeats, and in terms of content - with lyrics that are now exclusively in German - for melancholy self-reflection and clear political statements. Following the EP "Church on Friday", which was released independently and for free download in 2010, Mad Butcher Records released the second album "Our best record so far" at the beginning of 2013. A split 7" with the Serbian punk rock band The Bayonets followed in December of the same year. Finally, in July 2017, the current longplayer "Frei.Tal" was released. As with its predecessors, the reviews of the record in fanzines such as Ox and Plastic Bomb and on many online portals were consistently positive.

Over 100 concerts followed in the two and a half years after the release of "Frei.Tal". In June 2017, Arrested Denial also went on a two-week tour in China, playing in Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong, among other places. This was the Hamburg band's second major trip abroad, after they had criss-crossed the Balkans in 2013 - also for two weeks and several thousand kilometers. This was followed by a 16-day European tour with the Street Dogs in 2018 and another two-week European tour with the Angelic Upstarts in 2019. Before Arrested Denial, all band members had already been involved in related subgenres: singer Valentin in the hardcore band This Belief, guitarist Sascha in the Oi! combo In Vino Veritas and drummer Daniel in the indie punk band Die Kleinen Götter. Bassist Timo has also shaped the Hamburg punk scene for many years with his bands Small Town Riot and Highschool Nightmare. In addition to touring, Arrested Denial have played a number of other shows in recent years. In 2015, for example, at the personal invitation of Broilers on their Noir Tour and with bands such as the Adolescents, Los Fastidios, Menace, Sick Of It All, Rantanplan, the Kassierern, Dritte Wahl, The Oppressed and Agnostic Front. Numerous festival appearances were also on the program, including at the Rebellion Festival in Amsterdam, Back To Future in Glaubitz and the Czech festival Pod Parou.

Dissmeland - NoiseRock
DISSMELAND is a 3-man noise rock band from Hamburg, which was founded in 2014 and has since played many shows mainly in northern Germany.

The DISSMELAND songs cut a swathe through all their favorite genres: noise, punk, crossover, stoner, rap, rock. The lyrics are 80% German, 10% English and 10% mumbled. The first EP was recorded in May 2018 at HOME Studio Hamburg and was released in 2019. Live there is a full board on the ears, a lot of dynamics, passion and sweat. The highlight of every gig is when szubi and Henne swap instruments during the concert.
