Friends for a decade, Marie Kobylka (vocals, piano), Christoph Werner (synthesizer, guitar), Robin Karow (drums) and Kilian Reischl (bass) have been working together since early 2013 to set their collective attitude to life to music under the name COSBY: "Every song draws from the thoughts and experiences of the band and is therefore as genuine and honest as a diary entry," drummer Robin already said about the EP "Love and War" (2014), which was produced and released independently and featured the single "Boon & Bane", which was in the German airplay charts for months and also gained fans in various other countries (thanks to the Europe-wide TV campaign for perfume brand MEXX).

With their debut album "As Fast As We Can" in summer 2015, they finally became the "biggest pop hope of the city" (BR) and also collected several prizes and nominations (including the GEMA Music Author Award, New Music Award, Ego FM Listener Award).

Even before the release of their second "Milestone" album (2018), the four Munich natives had already garnered plenty of praise (SZ, BR, Musikexpress, WELT) with their mix of globally conceived pop appeal and locally made do-it-yourself spirit and repeatedly surprised with how seamlessly this straddle between indie or DIY spirit and oversize pop statements can work - in the studio and also live, where they have already shared the stage with Tove Lo and Mø, for example. From the very beginning, COSBY have been a unique hybrid based on the closest of friendships in the field of tension between indie spirit, electro-pop and activism. With singles such as "Get Up", "Higher" and "Sunlight", they have now racked up almost 10 million streams on Spotify alone. Now the wait will soon be over: "Savior" is on its way... While Cosby recently set off from Munich across the equator towards the south in order to tackle concrete issues and support the people in Malawi with tangible DIY solutions, COSBY have also developed their third album virtually on the road - and have also traveled to the United States for the first time: The four Munich-based band recorded large parts of "Savior" on the US East and West Coasts. It's no wonder that their electrified pop design sounds even brighter and bigger this time.
