CRASH is known to be the oldest rock disco in Munich - since 1968, after all - so it has a corresponding tradition and a good reputation. For years, this place was our regular meeting place. We've made long-standing friends there, rocked, partied, loved and cried. Anyone who has experienced something like that knows what it's worth.
In the meantime, CRASH was no longer the right place for us "old guys". But that has changed in the last two years. Real rock is being played again!
We talked to Karin and Hasso from Crash and found a rock-savvy DJ, Bäda from the Munich Rock Crew, who will play our music wishes.
The CRASH CLASSICS night will take place for the first time on February 14.
We will be playing the rock oldies from the 60s, 70s and 80s that we ourselves enjoyed at CRASH in the 80s, 90s and 2000s. Some examples are Queen, the Stones, Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, Hendrix, Jim Morrison, CCR, Springsteen, BTO, Uriah Heep, Tina Turner and many more from exactly this genre.
The aim is to make CRASH a permanent focal point for us rock lovers once again. If this first event goes down well, further dates are already planned for the coming months - on the second Friday of each month.
If you want to finally have a place to enjoy good music in a suitable environment together with old - and perhaps new - friends, then coming along on February 14 is almost a "must".
The teaser image is ours and you are welcome to share it online and on all social media channels.
We, i.e. Till, Sunny, DJ Bäda and the Crash team, are hoping for numerous guests. We look forward to seeing you!
Keep on rockin'
