As an institution of the City of Düsseldorf, the KomKuK networks and advises the players in the local cultural and creative industries (KKW). Whether advertising, design, software, games, film, music, literature, press, broadcasting, performing arts, art trade or architecture - with their offers, products and services, creative professionals shape the economic and cultural events of our time. In Düsseldorf, this includes around 32,500 people who work in more than 4,000 companies or as self-employed professionals, generating an annual turnover totaling around 9.5 billion euros.
Together with the cultural and creative professionals, the KomKuK makes the enormous economic and innovative power of the sector just as visible as the cultural and creative climate of the state capital.
