After the first album "Intersections", with which the crossover guitar duo catapulted themselves "to the top of the European fingerpicking scene" (Concerto 6/22), the second album "Interwoven" now follows, an album about the interwoven stories and experiences of the two guitarists Carina Maria Linder and Markus Schlesinger.

If they met at their stylistic and musical intersections in their first album, the two artists can now be described as interwoven... interwoven into a completely new style that blurs the boundaries between classical music, jazz and world music and creates a musical universe that has never been heard before. Even if you ask the AI to formulate a press release about Crossing Strings, the answer is that the two musicians have merged into a mass that is inseparable and together treading new, untrodden paths.

Freshly returned from their first Australian tour and inspired by the idea that only the interweaving and exchange of individuals can turn them into a fruitful and constructive whole, Crossing Strings have decided to dedicate an entire record to this concept with their second studio album (after Intersections, 2022) "Interwoven".
