"We're CROSSPLANE and we play Rock 'n' Roll!"
So much for a ballsy announcement by these kerosene-oozing hellhounds of heavy sounds! Their touring/gig schedule is an impressive proof of this cocky confidence. The characteristic CROSSPLANE sound consists of rude punk attitude, raw rock, metal chunks and a hefty helping of groove. Of course, the band's whole recorded catalog is brimming with these highly explosive ingredients - produced by Waldstreet & Denroad (Grip Inc., Sodom, Moonspell, to name a few) and frontman Marcel "Celli" Mönnig for the most part.
Despite extraordinary pandemic times, live shows are extremely important to hone the above mentioned earthy sounds... Ever since CROSSPLANE saw the light of day a bit more than a decade ago, the band has delivered sweat-drenched and enthusiastic performances galore. The line-up, with Marcel 'Celli' Mönnig (voc), Alexander Stoermer (guit), Andrew Barrett (bass), and Mark Bridgeman (drums), had become notorious for wild headbanging, lots of beers, and rocking crowds - the boys built this reputation by working hard on tour with scene greats such as Black Label Society,'77, Chrome Division, or Sodom. Was it possible to condense such overwhelming energy and live clout and put it onto an album? The debut "Class Of The Hellhound High" (2013) put all sceptics to rest - and media folks were gushing: "These ten crispy songs rock and really leave you in a good mood" (Metal Hammer Germany), "The mighty sound is testing your speakers, the songs are ear candy, and the lyrics are easy to sing along!" (Metal.de). Yet also "Masturboned" (2015), a feisty Rock'n'Roll manifesto, or Since then, they have performed not only at legendary Wacken Open Air, but also "Backyard Frenzy", the combo's last recorded backyard masterpiece (2017), offered multiple superbly diverse and dirty Rock 'n' Roll smashers.
Fast forward into the 2020s, bazillions of shows under its belt (among them festival appearances at "Wacken Open Air" or at "Werner - Das Rennen"...), Crossplane has something cooking. An album to be unleashed, CROSSPLANE's trademark rough and powerful sound is set to break free again. Be it on an album or live, the boys always go full throttle and will transform any apathetic Friday evening beer slurping slump into a frenetic party monster within the first two songs of their gig!
Celli and his gang always have yet another ace up their sleeves and killer ideas for any next thing coming at any time given... Whatever it'll be, one thing's for sure: whatever CROSSPLANE touches, it will be oozing dirt, sweat, beer, and fun because the band and the fans know that good Rock is supposed to smell like that! Wanna bet?
Your heart beats for Rock'n'Roll? The word Motörhead does ring a bell in your head? Check out CROSSPLANE, and you'll be blown away by sheer power, attitude, and catchy tunes galore.

JAMHEADS Velbert/NRW in the summer of 1990... around the ex- VIOLENT FORCE member 'Lemmy' the JAMHEADS are formed from a session band. Beer-soaked hard rock crosses with straight punk rock... a gaudy mixture of THE RAMONES, MOTÖRHEAD and ROSE TATTOO sound !!! After the CD releases 'Don't Get Mad, Get Stupid' (1994) and 'On The Loose' (1996), the band split up. Velbert/NRW in the summer of 2012... the JAMHEADS reformed and released their self-produced third album 'Jam For Life' (2017), a '...cool thing with really good songs' (Jan Jaedike/Rock Hard). As a warm-up act, the JAMHEADS provided... SUPERSUCKERS, NITROGODS, RAVEN, CORONER for a beer-soaked atmosphere. The joint gig with KREATOR in the legendary Ruhrpott pub 'ENDZEIT' was also great...
So... Let the beer flow, the mats fly, the asses shake... it's JAMHEADS time !!!
