Boarding call for all queers and allies, devotees of timeless house and techno: step aboard our steamboat Cruise for an estival, late-night excursion to the promised shores of queer party ecstasy and sterling dance music.

We hoist the sails of techno to carry us deep into the night: our very own resident Muallem celebrates the sensual funk in techno, while Philippa Pacho entices with a potent yet beautifully restrained, hallucinogenic brand of sound-woozy wizardry to soundtrack a late-night swim. And Chami? The Moroccan, Berlin-based DJ is all about no-nonsense techno-nothing but grooves for hours on end, quite simply.

Below deck lies our PLUS floor, devoted to house and Chicago-indebted rhythms. Longtime companion Cormac returns to seduce our souls-tracing the queer lineage of dance music through house, Italo, hi-NRG, and nu-wave (maybe not techno today!), he thrills with foaming feelings and grooves. Partok, a regular guest at Blitz, shines with sharp, snappy, and acutely articulated selections, while local Radio 80000 affiliate Leyla-adeptin a multitude of musical settings-rounds out the floor with a selection of buoyant beats.
