Satirical comedy picture book by Frank Pinkus and Nick Walsh
The "Hansibar" kiosk near the highway: travelers stop here for currywurst with chips, cola, coffee, bratwurst and meatballs. The store is buzzing, especially at the start of the vacations, and kiosk manager Penny meets illustrious people, such as a group of teachers, a Dutch family, two drama students, boozy construction workers, singing nuns and many more. When the vacations come to an end, these guests return to her house, but some things have changed significantlyin the intervening three weeks...
You can expect a shrill, crazy, fast-paced comedy that also draws its charm from the fact that the 75 roles are played by a small ensemble.
Several actors and actresses from the Essen VHS course "Literature in Scene" under the direction of Gabi Dauenhauer will be performing.
