Cynthia Nickschas

Her extraordinary talent was first discovered in 2011 at the Geldern street music competition, and she received further recognition in 2014 with the "FÖRDERPREIS DER HANNS - SEIDEL -STIFTUNG". Further nominations followed in the subsequent period and in 2019 she was awarded the "FÖRDERPREIS DER LIEDERBESTENLISTE". In 2023, she was nominated for the "PREIS DER DEUTSCHEN SCHALLPLATTENKRITIK" in the rock category.

After "Kopfregal" (2014) and "Egoschwein" (2018), her third album "Is' halt so!" has just been released.

It features older, previously unreleased tracks alongside new songs and arrangements. "Is' halt so!" with life, color and imagination of the petite but powerful-voiced musician.

Cynthia likes to be non-conformist, she is rebellion, passion and pure energy. She can encourage and put her finger in the wound.

She speaks up, confronts, calls a spade a spade and does not shy away from conflict. She always presents a positive view of the world and provides her own incentives and impetus for alternatives and change. Humanity, honesty, empathy and trust are the values that are important to her. Her stylistic orientation is also freedom-loving, colorful and diverse,

Her music is influenced by rock and pop, but also blues, jazz and classical songwriting. This exciting mix creates mature, mature soundscapes and stories.
