Czesare @ Chance Festival

Emma Cesari aka Czesare is an author, composer and singer from Provence. She was introduced to jazz since childhood by her father, a drummer, and fell in love with the guitar at a very early age. With a clear string sound, she delivers a guitar voice that ranges from jazz/funk to more introspective songs. There is something touching and powerful about Czesare's voice and guitar playing.

Her music immerses us in a world characterized by nostalgia. With a gentle voice and poetic lyrics, the melancholy of passing time, the memories of childhood and the questions of adulthood, his first E.P. "Alba" is a postcard of a moment. Its universe is inspired by the indie rock, alternative pop and jazz of recent years. The influences range from Jeff Buckley, Tamino to November Ultra. The artist performs solo and gradually records her instruments using effects pedals and the looping technique. The world of Czesare has already brought together artists such as -M-, Feu! Chatterton, Flavia Coelho, November Ultra, Jain or the Cats on Trees, who have invited her as a support act.
