Withered 2025 World Tour
d4vd, born David Burke, became a visionary artist after starting to write and record heartbreaking tracks alone in his sister's closet in Houston, Texas just a year earlier.
An avid Fortnite player who has over fifty thousand subscribers on his gaming channel, he noticed that the songs in his game montages were copyrighted and his mother suggested he write original music as a solution. This motivated d4vd to record his own tracks.
He has released a string of singles covering everything from indie-alternative to pop to R&B, and in the summer of 2022, the 18-year-old broke through with the now RIAA multi-platinum melancholic indie rock song "Romantic Homicide". Recorded entirely on an iPhone, the track reached number 34 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and led to d4vd signing with Darkroom/Interscope before graduating from high school.
This was followed by the romantic beach ballad "Here With Me", which hit the Billboard Hot 100 in January 2023 and has now also been certified RIAA platinum. d4vd's debut EP "Petals To Thorns" established him as a genre-bending newcomer and one of the best new emerging acts, which is backed up by his recent Billboard 21 Under 21 and Variety Young Hollywood awards.
His intuitive mastery of lyricism stems from years of scribbling raps and poems in his diary since childhood, and his eclectic interests are reflected in his music, which draws primarily from manga and anime.
Following his "The Root of it All" debut tour in the spring, which sold out as soon as it went on sale, and a successful string of sold-out European dates, d4vd took his "Petals To Thorns" tour to bigger stages in the U.S. than ever before. d4vd recently joined R&B powerhouse SZA on the second leg of her North American S.O.S. tour.
