Dachbodenkonzert: PanneBierhorst • Wortwitz & Tragik Tour 2025

As part of its popular attic concerts, Kulturhaus Schwanen will be bringing a duo to the stage on 9 January 2025 who are perfect for the intimate atmosphere under the historic roof beams: PanneBierhorst - two singer-songwriters who show with guitar, piano, voice and attitude that humor and tragedy need not be opposites.

Sven Panne (Hamburg) and Rüdiger Bierhorst (Monsters of Liedermaching, among others) have long been established as solo artists, but together they develop a dynamic all of their own. Their songs tell of failed vacations and successful crashes, of love, life - and everything in between. The transition from laconic chanson to cheerful everyday ballad is effortless: you laugh, nod, drink - and get stuck on a line that hits you by surprise.

Musically, the duo combines guitar playing with piano accompaniment, wordplay with depth, straightforward dramaturgy with small excursions into great poetry. "When my heart is beating and I'm on stage, I'm far better than my record collection," says Bierhorst - and the audience agrees.
