The people of the winds
The climate is changing, the earth is in turmoil. Can this development be stopped? And what can a single person do? The well-known shaman Annabelle Wimmer Bakic learns of ancient earth healing rituals that are said to have the power to stop the impending destruction. On her travels, Annabelle is guided by the collective myth of the People of the Winds: this legendary tribe is said to have spoken the sacred language of all beings and possessed the knowledge of all four winds. As the first people on earth, they were connected to the essence of all things, recognized the patterns of creation and knew of the special significance of humans for this world and their task as healers and guardians. And so a universal earth healing ritual is revealed to her to forge a new alliance between humans and the earth.
However, her journey not only takes her to various places from Tuva to Siberia and Nepal, to the different cultures and their wisdom keepers, but also deep into the nature of the human soul. And she recognizes that this is crucial for the healing of people and the earth: because first people have to heal, then the earth can heal too.
Annabelle Wimmer Bakic studied classical archaeology, art history and German studies and worked in the art scene for many years. Today she works as a shaman with her own practices in Prien am Chiemsee and Munich, holds national and international seminars and provides training. She founded the discipline of spiritual archaeology. Based on the combination of shamanic knowledge and the latest neurological research, she also developed shamanic healing therapy.
