peta klotzberg, born 1980 in Vienna, Austria. Light painter, writer, seeker, player, singer. Motto: "Why?" Attributions: #site-specific #moving #nowadays issues
"It's your voice", a director once told her, and she has made it her own. Community projects and play developments in which the themes and texts are derived/filtered from discussions and improvisations are particularly close to her heart. Initiator of lab42 - verein für performance (2018) and the LIQUIDinfinity KlangKunstKollektiv. (2017) She seeks her themes in the here and now, and performance venues that tell the stories: works with inside-outside, above-below, capturing through movement. Music, language, play, movement - peta wants to communicate with the other, to "provoke with beauty". This is why hope, love and positive turns of phrase are important to her in her work. If anything, then utopia.

LIQUIDinfinity explores the wave per se. Everything that sounds is interesting, everyday life declared art. Live + laptop, theremin + keyboard, hapi, key ringing and bat echo sounder, matches ... Relevance has coincidence, now and here, silence and noise.
LIQUIDinfinity is mostly dedicated to the principle of improvisation. We deal with new ways of playing our instruments, and sounds are also tools for creating music. But principles are there to be broken, and that's why LIQUIDinfinity also plays through-composed music. It is my way of receiving, processing and reproducing the world around us, it is an examination of everyday life that affects us, here and now. The lyrics are very far-reaching and mostly socially critical. The vocal melodies are often based on spoken language and word melodies rather than classical song forms.
peta sings about everyday life and friendship, plastic avoidance, artificial intelligence and nuclear radiation, in love matters it sometimes gets a little bizarre and Escher- or Dali-type figures populate the scenario. There is also a focus on biographies of strong women such as the African-American NASA researcher and explorer (holography, MTR, Landsat program), US plutonium plant worker and trade unionist Karen Silkwood and teenagers.
