Daði Freyr is an Icelandic musician and producer who is attracting international attention with his distinctive style that combines electro-pop, funk and tongue-in-cheek retro charm. Born in Reykjavík in 1992 and raised in Iceland and Denmark, he developed a passion for music at an early age.

His career began with the song Is This Love? (2017) at the Icelandic ESC preliminary round, his international breakthrough came in 2020 with the viral hit Think About Things and over 100 million streams. In 2021, he returned to the ESC stage with 10 Years and took fourth place for Iceland. But his artistic journey went far beyond the Eurovision hype.

With his album I Made an Album, released in 2023, Daði finally established himself as an independent artist with a clear vision. He combines danceable beats with introspective themes and his unmistakable DIY production style. Songs like Moves to Make and I'm Fine show his ability to create music that works both on the dance floor and in quiet moments.

In recent years, Daði has built a loyal global fan base through sold-out tours in Europe and the US, where he creates a unique live experience with synchronized dance choreography, captivating visuals and unbridled energy. In fall 2025, the Icelandic artist will return to Germany for four shows.
