Born on the Lower Rhine, Dagmar Maria Toschka graduated from high school in Geldern after brief excursions to a convent and the assembly line of a cookie factory. She studied literature, education and psychology and worked in England, the USA and Canada. She later worked as a radio reporter and in tourism, published a travel magazine and eventually became an author and lecturer in creative writing. Her books are written on a boat in Cologne harbor. In her crime novels, the author describes not only murder cases but also unusual lifestyles - always with humor and suspense.
"Hafenwasser mit Schuss" is the second book in a series in which Inspector Golt has to solve unusual murders together with Linda Weißenberg.
