Aaron had actually prepared himself for a quiet summer. Since the death of his father, he prefers to be alone. But a mysterious gift from his grandmother suddenly raises questions. And so, without further ado, Aaron travels to Scotland to visit her. There he meets Moe, Jules and Summer, who are also spending their vacation on their grandmother's farm. They quickly realize that they are not there together by chance. They are the new guardians of a world that Aaron previously only knew from his father's stories and which now seems to be becoming dangerously real for the four of them. And so they soon embark on an adventure together that they would never have dared to dream of.
