Finally back with us after what feels like an eternity, we are particularly pleased about the Swiss Berliner-by-choice and exceptional artist.

Dagobert has sometimes called himself a crooner, because the lyrics of his songs often sound like pop music: they are about love and expressions of emotion.
However, the sound itself does not fit into the world of pop songs at all, as Dagobert likes to layer broad arrangements of synthesizer sounds and also likes to experiment.
It could therefore also be described as a very unusual kind of electro-chanson pop.
In any case, what makes the music stand out from the flood of today's music productions is Dagobert's calm voice and the sophisticated content.

On his seventh album "Dagobert und die wahre Musik vom südlichen Blütenland" - which will be released on November 1, 2024 - the charismatic crooner from the Swiss mountains completely reinvents himself.

The pain-distorted longing of days gone by has become selfless and omnipresent, pure love.
After a good decade of self-made indie gems about unrequited love, complex social issues are suddenly being dealt with here and served up to us as high-end R'n'B productions in which a cozy and gentle danceability is never lost.

Every single song is a venture and a direct hit at the same time.
Recorded on the Pacific coast of Panama, this delightful album opens with an inviting soundscape of friendly animals and beautiful waves and the words "I'm in paradise".

The loss of authenticity and identity is fabulated, as a result of which foreignness is recognized as something natural, inevitable and rooted in human existence.

Rarely has such a simple sentiment been so musically spot-on, manifesting an entire attitude to life and revealing a complex non-conformist resistance to the outdated standardization of everyday life behind the hedonistic craving for a beer.

Here, masses of hits are delivered that seem to have no musical boundaries. So we can be prepared for surprises in the future and look forward to the concert on April 13th live on the most beautiful stage in the city!
