Anyone who experienced DAMONA on her sold-out debut tour in winter 2023/spring 2024 will have noticed that she is an exceptional talent. She sings, she jumps, she speaks to the audience. And she does it all as if she had never done anything else before. And yet the first live shows with her band were only a few months ago! Nevertheless, last summer she already played in front of thousands on festival stages such as the Puls Festival, Reeperbahn Festival, Modular Festival, Heimspiel Festival, Campus-Festival Konstanz, Donauside Festival and many more. None other than Mike Shinoda, frontman and rapper of the biggest band of the 00s Linkin Park, invited DAMONA for the exclusive "Already Over" session in Berlin and released the joint feature on all streaming platforms. The 18-year-old easily holds her own alongside the world star because she has the voice and the skills to become a major artist in her own right. And with music that you wouldn't expect from an 18-year-old. This is the kind of music she might only know from her parents' record cabinet.

Her last single "Girl Across The Street", which was eagerly awaited by the media (including VISIONS, PULS, MDR Sputnik) and above all by her more than 2.1 million TikTok followers, showed DAMONA's versatility. A genuine indie hit that deals with other people's prejudices. The single "Rotten Soul" also proves that the young musician is very versatile. She sings with attitude, guitar and power about her very individual experiences in the field of tension of Generation Z and touches people directly.

Contrary to the musical preferences of many of her peers, DAMONA stands for a love of guitar music. She counts AC/DC and Queen among her role models and embodies a modern, self-determined, courageous young woman in her TikTok videos, who, with her catchy voice, sensational looks and, above all, a large portion of nonchalance, is what many teenagers want to be: A rebel who stands up for guitar music, who writes her own songs that show great maturity.

Four years ago, the then 14-year-old began connecting with her fans on social media and now, in 2024, has over 2.1 million followers on TikTok alone, hundreds of thousands of whom follow, like and crave her song interpretations and her own demos. Over 200,000 followers on Instagram, for whom DAMONA is far more than an "influencer". She is a role model. A style icon. Someone who inspires hope for rock music. For a generation that only knows Avril Lavigne, My Chemical Romance or Queen from their parents' stories!

She fights for equality and diversity, pride rights and all that with casual self-irony in her great songs. DAMONA herself says about her huge online fan base: "I'm sometimes unsure myself why so many people are touched by what I do, but I would like to be a role model for young people that you can do anything you want if you don't bend. Maybe my songs will make people who feel the same way feel less alone and more understood. Maybe we can all be a little sad together. 2024 will be a big year for me.
