Schlepp Geist is back at Climax - with fresh music in his luggage. His new EP Breathe on Rummel shows how far his sound has matured in the meantime: four tracks that bear his signature without being fixed. Deep house remains the starting point, but in between there are flashes of influences that are not always easy to grasp - funky, melancholic, pushing, then again almost fragile. The moment decides where it goes. Anyone who knows him knows: with Schlepp Geist, nothing stays in the frame.

Mary and Chamelio3000 come from the same orbit - the therapy group Haus für Elektrobedarf. Mary doesn't let anything slow her down. Her sound is direct, playful and electronic to the core. What she plays has attitude, zest and an underlying wit. Chamelio3000 is wilder. Dirty, impulsive, unpredictable. Always a little off the beaten track - and that's exactly why they get to the point. Together, the two bring an energy to Climax that is neither cool nor calculated.
